Being a parent is great, there’s no doubt about that, but there was so much I didn’t realise.
I didn’t realise that I would become a part of a propaganda war, fighting the relentless advertising that is constantly trying to twist my families perceptions. I didn’t realise that the government would think they knew better ways than me to raise my children. I didn’t realise how much crap was for sale, that I would buy and later realise I didn’t need.
Quite frankly it’s pissing me off. So I decided to write about it. I want to debunk the myths, recommend the useful and highlight the crazy.
I’m a 35 year old father, a british expat living in Australia, I work with technology and I’m armed with a degree in engineering and an MBA. Here we go.
